A sweet thank you Note From Mrs. wanek
Wow - can you believe it was just last week that the Chapman Hill community came together to provide our students with a field day that was a BLAST?! From the looks on the faces of our students and volunteers, I feel confident that field day was a wonderful experience. I wanted to take a moment to thank you as the families that make Chapman Hill the fantastic school that it is, and offer my deepest thanks for coming alongside me and the rest of the staff to make this all possible. We had 31 families make a donation for small prizes for both our popular “fishing pond” for grades k-2 and the new station “Spin-it 2 Win-it” for grades 3-5. Our students again loved the cookie walk made possible by the 43 families who donated cookies. Without the 57 parents who volunteered to help run stations, there is no way we would have been able to offer the activities we did for our students. A huge thank you to PTC for their funding, and to those of you who participated in the Fall jog-a-thon to help make the PTC funding possible. You made it possible to not only purchase new supplies for stations, but again allowed our students to have the ever popular inflatable slide at field day.
If you have photos of our students on field day, I would love it if you would be willing to share those photos with me by sending them to me at my school email address. These photos will be added to our field day file for planning future field days.
Again thank you so much for making field day a BLAST!!!

How you can help:
Today's meeting has been cancelled.
This is the last week before Read Across America Week. You can still donate new or gently used books to the library for the school-wide book giveaway. Just give a few to your student and have them drop them off at the library on their way to class.
