Welcome Back Cheetahs!

We hope everyone had an amazing summer! We're very excited for another great school year. Here are some important dates to put on your calendar:
Monday August 28th - Kindergarten Orientation from 4pm-5pm - This will be a chance for students and families to meet the teachers and staff, ask questions, etc.
Friday September 1st - Classroom Placements Announced - Parents/Guardians will receive an email from the classroom teacher on this date. Please note: Class lists will no longer be posted in the windows.

Tuesday September 5th - Open House from 5pm-6pm - This is a drop in event where students and families can tour the school, bring their school supplies, meet the classroom teacher and other Chapman Hill staff. Make sure to stop by the PTC table in the gym!
Wednesday September 6th - First Day of School for 1st Grade - 5th Grade - Please note this is a late start day.
Monday September 11th & Tuesday September 12th - Kindergarten Transition Days - September 11 and 12 will be a full day of kindergarten with only half of the students in the classroom to allow students to have a smoother start. Students with a last name that starts with A-L will come Monday the 11th and students with the last name of M-Z will come on Tuesday the 12th. Wednesday, September 13th will be the first day of kindergarten for all students together. This slower transition will allow students to become familiar with the routines and structures before they are all in the classroom together for the whole school day. ​
